Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor who is well known for his part in the popular television series 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. At the age of 18, he began to pursue a passion for acting. While at his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. Though he's appeared in films as well as on TV however, it's his work in small screen productions that have given him much popularity. He's able to effortlessly play roles of characters on both sides of the law and grab the audience's interest. He portrayed the role of the serial killer in the first TV series he appeared in however he later went on play the role as an NYPD detective.
